CDM 1550 LS Firmware Problem, how big is it?

Post by motofreak008 »

I am looking at buying a CDM 1550 LS radio but the seller said it has a firmware problem. The seller says that it indicates a checksum error. How hard is that to fix and is it expensive to get done?

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

checksum would be a codeplug error. he's probablly hoping that a firmware upgrade will correct the problem. you are just taking a chance. it's possible that you can get a good codeplug and write it to the radio and the problem will go away.
