mts 2000

when i do the power on and 5 clicks i get
R0.8.70 then the SS number and the modle and all that info
so my question is what RSS version do i need. and what PC would work best for this.. what speed pc.. it is mts2000 portable. any info would help me a lot

Seeings though it has 8.x firmware, which is the rebanding release, you'll definitely need the newest Windows CPS from Motorola (RVN4176U R02.02 I believe). Any speed PC running XP or 2000 should be fine.
