Cell Phone Amps...in vehicle

I was wondering peoples thoughts on in car cell phone amps. I work in the most rural county in Vermotn and Do not always have reception. I was wondering peoples opinions. I have a Kyocera KX444 Phone.

Have you tried an external antenna yet? If not try that first, then look at an amp. Look at this link, they should have what you need.

Yep. They're smart - communicating with the site to vary power output levels.

I second the Wilson unit. Not the cheapest (around $200, my distributor cost), but not bad.

I have an external antenna but with lack of coverage it works minimal at best. I was looking at the wilson but read a couple unfavorable reviews so I was concerned.

If there is nothing there to improve, then you can amplify all you want and it won't do anything. But if there is a sliver of a signal that is just too weak on it's own, the booster might help you.

I know the town I work in if I attach my external antenna I can get a little signal so I was hoping the booster would extend that range!
