Well, I'm guessing that the first one is an SP version for FedEx, and the second one is a late version A5/A7/E2/E5/E7 board..

FedEx radios had mods for the DATA package. Most were 800 mhz.
There were some inputs and outputs on the control head that were "extra" modifications. There may be even differences in the MLM too.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll have to see if the FedEx guy has a radio in his vehicle next time he comes by.
If I remember right, the FedEx CH was cheaper.

The Fed Ex radios all had their chassis painted orange, easy to spot, no special MLM, all were hooked up as data radios.

Kilgore: Smell that? You smell that?
Lance: What?
Kilgore: Napalm, son. Nothing in the world smells like that.
Kilgore: I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...
