I have had to replace a GM300 with a CDM1250 in a GR300 with Zetron R
310. I have successfully installed the radio with 2 minor issues.
1. The CDM will not power up when power is applied. Obviously the ign sense cable can't be used because the acc connector is used by the controller. I thought disable was the right value for the ign sense field in CPS, I guess I'm wrong but can't figure it out. Help!
2. The 310 was responsible for sending the proper PL tone to the transmitter, which is now the CDM. That isn't happening. Regardless of controller settings the CDM only transmits CSQ no PL. I imagine this is an issue to properly program the acc pins on the CDM to send the PL from the controller but I can't figure this out either.
Ok I admit it I'm a rookie.
Any input is appreciated, thanks

Re: CDM1250 and Zetron 310
Run a + wire from the radios power supply to pin 10 on the accessory connector and that will ensure the radio is on as long as power is applied.
In the accessory configuration tab be sure ext mic & flat audio are chosen together as I believe the PL is injected on pin 5 (flat audio in) and the audio on pin 2.
