UHF MT2000 Tuning Values

Post by NSPD »

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a set of "normal" tuning values for an R-Split MT2000 in the 453mhz range? I have a radio that works great on the repeaters, but just won't work well in simplex at all compared to my other radios i've had in the past.

Thanks!

Jake, the tuning values vary radio to radio, that is why they are adjustable. Best bet is to get your radio properly aligned.

I have successfully tuned 800 MHz Jedis using tuning values from another radio, so what i'm basically looking for is a set of values that I can compare mine against to narrow down what the problem might be.

Thanks!

Hate to say it but That is not the way to tune a radio as values depend on all sort of things.
You may think you have successfully tuned but you havent really.
