Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

or you could just post the information

Battery date coding is the first digit is the year and the second and third digits are the week the battery was made

williamh thats why theres a search icon on top. How many times have you seen the same questions (the basic questions) over & over? I myself had an account here that went back to 2000/2001 (forgot username & password so I started another) I try to ask a question on the Dell forum & I get a half a dozen replies that say:" you can do a search & find your answer" If we don't send some questions to "Search" and the "Knowledge Base" has lots of good info! will waste space. alex will "trim the fat" from this forum which I think is a good idea.
and how many others started to become concerned about what alex did,
unless you make a $$$ donation & support this forum...I've seen some other message forums go down the tubes. Lets use what tools we have.
I can see a repost question that has a "time frame" ex: "my radio is down" ect... or "someone needs a part no." ect.. I'm guilty of basic questions. if we have the tools to find the answer, I say we use them.
until we find the answer, or we don't. Jim
