R100 Repeater Mike and Speaker Console

Post by n6fnp »

I have a R100 repeater which I will be putting on the air sometime
soon.

I would like to have some kind of console with microphone, or at
least a speaker so that I can hear the activity on the repeater.

Is this something that can be done? What kind of unit would be compatible?
Could a telephone style console like those used in a hospital ER
be used?

There is speaker audio available on the large board in the door.
There are two female jacks that will take a DB connector male pin. One is ground and the other speaker hi.

There is a handset jack on the same board, mic and PTT plus handset earphone audio.

Will,

Thanks for the reply! I'll check on the connections that you mention.

Do you know of any consoles that can be connected to an R100?
