CP200 vol pot and ch switch removal

Post by FatBoy »

Any tips on removing the CP200 vol pot and ch selector? I have been using the iron, the solder sucker, and/ or wick and cannot get the 2 large ground pins unsoldered from the board on either component. Help!!! Thanks,FatBoy.
......I understand what the package says sir, but you cannot talk 28 miles with 3 AA batteries.......

I use a Chipmaster to float them out, but if you don't have that, a low-velocity heat gun will do the trick as well. Taking care of course not to scorch the board or components.
