MCS2000 Y-cable???

Post by scouser_IN_wales »

Ello all,
How hard would it be to make a Y-cable? I have the remote dash mount control head.

I've just got a copy of vRch and been giving it some thought that I could make a second "Rib to Radio" cable and using my orignal cable to splice into the remote head lead.

Has anyone done this before. I'm on a limited budget and so need to keep costs down.

thanks for your help again everyone.

Sorry, I'm not totally sure what you are asking. I think you are wanting to use vrch and keep your palm mic plugged in, so you want to splice a rib- radio cable into your control head to radio cable, is that right? If thats what you want, there is a programming cable that plugs in the 25 pin accy connector on the bottom, you should be able to make one of those and not splice into a good cable. I hope that helps...
