Astro Spectra version of RSS question

Trying to read an Astro Spectra model D04U---- model
and it gives me the message:

The current CPS version cannot support this codeplug
as it is not compatible with this release. Please upgrade
to the latest CPS version.

The Astro CPS version I am using is R05.01.00

I think 5.02 is the latest.

Sounds like mother M has forgot to send me the latest
and greatest copy. Guess I will have to call Monday and
see what the problem is.

is what I've seen. Is the 5.xx series special or CPS or something?

Motorola doesn't support DOS anymore and hasn't since ver 9.05 and CPS ver 2. Current CPS is version 5.02.

Pulled the latest version off the MOL site after a few go
arounds with Motorola.

Version R05.02.00 works just fine on the radios.

Didn't get the normal message of code plug too new.
