Umm, it would help to know what firmware revision your MTS is ... too high and you can't use a codeplug from another radio.

Umm, mine is an MTX controller so I don't think the firmware version applies.

Mis-read the topic title...thought it said MTS... johnstankawitz's topic, said he had a MTS ... I apologize. So the question was more directed at him.

No problem, I try and stay away from MTS2000's. That toolproofing deal scares me.

You only really need to worry about toolproofing if you use LAB on your radio, otherwise their safe and rock solid radios to own.
