Well it goes in there when I go on trips and is on the desk most of the time. Im heading up to massachussetts this weekend.

I will be riding shotgun this trip...

Magmount antenna.
Power comes from the 20 amp power outlet.
bungee corded to the center tray

It works out quite well there are no power draw problems and the radio is very secure.

And now... PICTURES

Yeah. Pay more attention to your sig line. I understand the need to bungee a radio into an otherwise-unequipped vehicle... that "repeater " is an utter abomination (not to mention the definition of hamsexy).

what do you mean "sig line"?

the repeater... well its just in my attic. but... it could use to be cleaned up a bit, ok... a lot. i would like to get mounting brackets and mount the radios and duplexer to the wall. I also need to get a new radio for the controller I have as the 16 pin on the TX radio is shot.

When you try and cut corners, the corners will just come back and cut you.

Any job worth doing is worth doing well, words to live by.

A+ for effort, but............... well, never mind.

SG
Kilgore: Smell that? You smell that?
Lance: What?
Kilgore: Napalm, son. Nothing in the world smells like that.
Kilgore: I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...

i will try and get some better pics tomorrow.

I added a fan to the TX radio, and it is drawing air accross the heatsink.

its still hamsexy, but not as bad as before... atleast I dont think so...
