/\/\ Saber 1E & Saber 2 Question.........

Post by themedic66 »

What does the two(2) buttons highlighted in the boxes do, or what can they be programmed to do? I have noticed that one of the buttons has one(1) dot, and the other button has two(2) dots. Three(3) of them are Saber 1Es and 1 is a Saber 2. Information on this would be helpful and appreciated.

Unless you have a Systems Saber or a late one with a 6D or 8D core, they don't do a dmm thing.

I have a few early cases that don't have them.

My understanding is that those buttons are for repeater access tones (RAT).

What radios do you own?: What's a radio?

He is correct. They are R.A.T. buttons and with the standard Saber, you must have the 6D or 8D core (as mentioned by W4WTF).
