Well we are almost done here in Essex with another Steam locomotive Rebuild and it is going to get a Brand New Skate antenna and radio.
as for the radio were using a 2 channel maxtrac/Radius but they seem to last about 2 years and the Coal dust and gunk get to em and burn them
i got the Ok for a new CDM 1250 and i was going to get a remote kit and install the radio in a Sealed up Box with an air filtering system if the Box was Big enough will i need to put a Fan on it or will just the Open Space suffice.
Also the Control head is gonna be in a Clear Box ad i was going to install external Vol control and a set of external Buttons for channel Up down
any issues with an external Vol control on the External Speaker Leads
