Kenwood Programming????? Please help!!!!!

Kenwood Programming????? Please help!!!!!

I know this is a Motorola forum, but I got a great deal on a TK-2160 froma guy. Now I know why... This friggin radio is locked and no one around me can unlock it. I cant get the lock code as the seller doesnt know it. Can anyone program this radio? I am willing to pay anybody who can do it so shoot me a pm to let me know. It is a 16 ch model for reference. Thnaks

You should just be able to write a new file over the old one. The 2160 does not have a write P/W IIRC.

The 2160 does have an overwrite password,and if that was programmed you can't overwrite to it.
