MCS2000 Problem, possibly programming

Post by fire-medic8104 »

I have a MCS2000, model 2 that is in my truck. I changed a few settings in it when I got it back from the system administrator and it has been working fine for the last several months. Now all of a sudden it won't recieve. I am hearing on my portable fine. If I turn it off and turn it back on, it will work for 10 minutes or 10 days, then does it again.

Not sure what it is, anyone ever see this problem? I know the spectra's used to do this with the caps, but don't know if the MCS2000's are the same way with the 800mhz. I don't get any errors or out of range, just nothing coming through.

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's
