I recently upgraded from CPS 06.06.00 to CPS 06.07.04. When i did
that it deleted the older version like it should. I install the new program and it worked fine for a few days. Suddenly it would not read the radio when it was hooked up to the comm port. I tried multiple radios with multiple cables for the software to no avail. I know it is not the comm port because I am able to use the comm port to program Minitor III & IV pagers as well as HT1000 radios in DOS. If anyone has a solution to this problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's
shut down everything else except the cps. windows is using the com port for something, that's why it's busy. it's working in dos because windows isn't running and can't control the ports,
