I have a MTX Model H01UCH6DB7AN front display full keypad

Was wondering if I could change to a mts2000 800 so I can jsut dump an existing codeplug into it

Just to make sure I'm reading your post right... You want to dump an MTS plug into your MTX? Sure, you can do that with no prob..

If it's a full featured flashcode on the MTS plug, you might not get "everything" to work because of low firmware on the MTX's part..

But it should do what you want in a nutshell..

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
