- What radios do you own?: Alot..
Since I don't have the manuals in front of me, that part number appears to be for the display/memory board.
If that board has a metal shield over it, it is a Systems Saber board and can only be used with the Sytems models.
If it is only a bare board, with no shield, then it is a standard Saber board.
Do not attempt to swap either board into either radio...it will not work.
That is essentially the only part that can't be swapped from radio to radio, but this also includes many secure modules as well.
Just going on memory for now...check the (search) function for more in depth data.

I doesnt have the metal shield. Physically it looks ldentical to the Saber III front . I have 2 of these and I tried to put them on a Saber and read or write to the radio I get a device not found and when I power up it quickly flashed "T" on the display. I searched this site and the Web and found the part # but no descripton other than Front shield 8K
Re: NTN5639? saber III or systems saber?
I have looked at my Saber manuals and I don't see that number anywhere. The only number listed for the display is RPX4703A which is the 8K display kit (there is no number for 2K). There were two versions of the 8K display. The later version had a PC board model number 8405912T01. I haven't found the number to the early version. On the bottom edge of the circuit board you might find the number 05753P or 5912T 0. If you do, the board is from the standard Saber II or III series.

I show a description of " front shield 8k with scan" However I don't know which model that applies to.
