Best Scanner for P25 Motorola 700 System

As the topic goes, does anyone have any input as to which scanner might be best for monitoring a P25 700 digital trunk system?

Thanks!

Possibly the Uniden Bearcat BCD996T for base/mobile and the Uniden Bearcat BCD396T for a portable.

I could not agree more. Once the rebanding takes effect, many scanners in the 800 TRS will become obsolute.

Get a 396 or 996 if your system has 700Mhz freqs. No other scanner will trunk 700Mhz .

The new GRE scanners that will be released in October 2007 will apparently offer 700 MHz tracking with rebanding support. They will also offer NAC decoding as well as several other "new" features. It may be worth the wait, although, I love my 396.
