cp150 dilema

hi all,
my work has cp150's i tried to scan the pl but no luck........i tried all ctcss tones aswell as dpl's......is there something new motorola came up w/?

There are inverted dpl's as well. Do you mean you really tried every pl and dpl tone? That takes some time. You should talk to whoever is in charge of your radio system, they should be able to tell you.

Good reason to have a decoder such as a Connect Systems CD-1 on a scanner. You'd have the answer in about 1 second.

well i found the pl. but new dilema.........i got a gp300 programmed to right freq and right pl.
i key up the gp300 and sometimes i can hear it on the cp150.......i take the cp150 out to my truck ft-8900 all works A ok. my 2 gp300's work fina aswell
i'm gonna try a diff portable tomorrow when i get to work.....maybe this one is screwy
