Wondering if anyone out there has used or uses the new motorola low band ht's?

I think personally that they are garbage and not anywhere remotely close to the P200 or MT-500 series....

Are there any other radios out there that are somewhat the same in quality and features as the latter two are? Even if not Motorola, anyone know of any?

Also want to hear if anyone has any praise or horror stories of these new motorola toys

They do come in to our shop for repair! But I've only seen the ones in VHF..And only a few schools (security) is listed on the repair tag. I didn't get a chance to play around with the unit! "M" has a habit of making some junk sometimes, & some good gear! I can't say much more..Ed

to add to the above, just getting off the phone with our Tucson office, radio astronomy observatorys are using them, or the freq's! in the low band to cut down on any RF.....Ed
