Photo of Centracom II+ Buttons & LED's Compact OP

Post by d119 »

Again, in case someone hasn't had the opportunity to see what the Centracom equipment we've been so intensely discussing lately looks like, here's a photo of the Centracom Series II+ Buttons & LED's Compact OP (Operator Position) that sits on my desk. Sorry it's a bit blurry, cell phone cameras...

Top row, from left to right:
CCM1 4 frequency control UHF Base. CCM2 4 Frequency Control VHF Base. DCCM3 Display Channel Control Module VHF 1 Channel. DCCM4 Display Channel Control Module Repeater with MDC ID decode, emergency decode, etc. DCCM 5&6 are unassigned (obviously).

Bottom row, left to right:
Phone patch control, alert tones/marker/multiselect control, Radio Control Module, radio patch controls/paging, and MDC/DCCM controls.

Select/Unselect audio comes out of the two speakers at the very top of the unit.
This is a Series II+ Compact OP. It's the "second generation" of these, as it supports II+ features (Stat Alert/DCCM's & Trunking), whereas a Series II Compact OP does not support these features.

Enjoy!
