channel Steering CDM series
the Channel Steering on the rear connector can you set it up to do up down channels or can it only be set up to go to a preset set channel
Re: channel Steering CDM series
I'm pretty sure it's only capable of mode select 1-4. I use it now for a paging input which must be on F1, and a remote mic which is on F2. Works well!

Re: channel Steering CDM series
The inputs are binary coded, so you can get channels 1-15 for binary codes 0001 - 1111, code 0000 gives you the last selected channel. I think a 0 is open and 1 is grounded, not positive about that though. There are tone remotes available that will output the correct codes, or you could use a binary coded switch or make up your own specialty circuit.
