I need info on the maxtrac 888 radio.Is this radio a smartnet type 2 radio? Did it work in the
821-824 Nespac trunked freq from motorola?
Is this radio like the Smartnet c6 radio

First of all the Maxtrac will not do any of the splinter channels in the trunking mode. To get the radio to work
in the trunking mode the firmware needs to be updated. You need to find out which firmware is currently
installed in the radio. It may or may not have been changed.

The best way to find out if the radio will do any trunking is to read the radio with the RSS.
