PR1500 Questions

Post by dchilders »

Hello, I just recently bought a PR1500 VHF radio. I already own the programming software and cables for a MTS2000, will these work with the PR1500? I can't find much information on what I need as far as programming the PR1500. Does it use CPS? Just not sure.... thanks in advance.

You'll also need Astro 25 Portable CPS to read/write the radio. You will not be able to use MT/MTS.

I happen to like the PR series - I think they are a great portable for someone who doesn't need digital, and they are much better than the Waris (HT750/1250/1550) series radios by far.
