MC Micro programming

Post by ve1gln »

OK, built the programmer, connected it. radio goes into constant beep, select read, says it can't communicate with device.

Anyone have any luck building the mc-micro ribless cable? can you use a RIB instead and build a regular cable?

Why does the ribless diagram use the TX line? and Mic HI? this makes no sense.

Please someone help.....

Thanks

OK, re-did every thing from scratch, now I get a "invalid response from unit" error??

Well. I guess thats somewhat good, at least it's talking to it I think, is the display suppose to blank when you plug in the programmer?

Anyone have any ideas?

Never mind, got it working...

missed the jumper in the diagram, put it in, and works great now.

Anyone know what the jumper is for? different model perhaps?

Thanks
