i have a MTS2000 model-1 (top display) now the ???? is it poss. to switch it in to a 6 button front dispaly??
or what will i have to do to make it in to a fornt dispaly radio....thanks scott

First question, what's the firmware version?
If it's higher than 5.42, you're SOL. Can't be done.

when i check w/ cps firmware is unknown
but when i check bu=y turning it on and hitting the side button x5 it comes up w/ R05.44.00
so i guess i am SOL.....

the top display controllers also have a different display driver IC on the controller board, unless it's a really old radio it won't work anyway...
