MDF and 'b' version radio

Post by unmanaged »

I have a #D43LRA7PA5BK (ABZ89FT3730) radio. I have a friend that does radio work for the local fire departments and he does have the radius RSS but I dont want him to hook the radio up if it might toast it as the models listed in the MDF are for a #D43LRA7PA5AK radio?

Will this limit the ability to program? What is the differences in the 'a' and 'b' models....

What radios do you own?: What's a radio?

The radios are the same, but the "B" model has an engineering revision. Your friend might have to update his software.

I was just informed if an update is required that I would have to provide it?
What is the correct way of getting the update?
