RF Tuning Values on Systems Saber???

Post by RADIO43 »

Guys,

Are the tuning values for a systems saber and/or a saber stored in the RF modules or stored somewhere on the control board? I am doing some conversions and wondering if I will even have to put the radio on the service monitor once I swap out the RF modules. Thank you in advance.

The values are stored in the motherboard. But since you change the modules it would change what the settings that were stored were specific to what the band the radio was tuned for. Its always best to check whenever you service a radio to make sure the alignment hasnt changed

FireCpt809 ,

Thanks for the info. I figured it needed tuning but was hoping it didn't. Thanks again.
