HT1250 LS+ ptt id tones

Hello,

How do I program the PTT tones. My radio is a ht1250 ls+ Dp6 and It has PPT. I want those tones after I tx that RX radios can hear.

I think you are talking about MDC1200 signalling. It can be programmed in the signalling menu, Enter the radio ID you wish to transmit (4 digits, 0-F in hex) and then select "Pre/Post/Both" to specify when you want the ID to be transmitted. After that you will need to go to each personality to enable the MDC system in the signalling menu.

I thougth so....................To bad the signalling menu is grey and cant click anything in the personalitys. I guess I dont have MDC1200 in conventional.

How can I program conventional freqs/repeater in a trunked system. Can I just program the TX, RX and TONE and the repeater?

IIRC the DP6 is a 16 channel model and will NOT send MDC1200 signals on conventional personalities. The 16 channel model will only do MDC on LTR zones. You will need the 32 channel model, which is a DP9 model, and that radio will send MDC signals on conventional channels.
