I am interested in possibly purchasing an MT 1500 UHF 2, but I have a few questions, with only the 48 ch. is possible to do Smart Net and conventional channels in the same bank, and if so with they scan. Also, I know that is radio only supports analogue type II smartnet trunking, but will it do smartzone trunking of analogue.
Thanks
Kevin

Yes, you can mix conventional and trunked systems in the same zone, and you can scan between them, although I'm not sure just how well the conventional + trunked scan works... I know there are caveats (no priority being one of them I believe). According to the product slick, the radio does support wide-area SmartZone.unioner101 wrote:I am interested in possibly purchasing an MT 1500 UHF 2, but I have a few questions, with only the 48 ch. is possible to do Smart Net and conventional channels in the same bank, and if so with they scan.
