Hi,
I am currently using Motorola GP 328's as my main communication radio, however I have come across a GP329 and wondered if they were compatible (able to talk to each other if programmed on the same freq)
I have a comms officer however he is overseas at the moment and I have no way of contacting him and they sale of the radio is a short term thing so is it possible to have them work together?
Also what is the difference between the two models.
If it helps I live in Australia and the model numbers of my GP328's are AZH25SDC9AA2. The only number I have for the GP329 is AZH25RDC9AN3.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: GP328/GP329 Compatibility Question
As long as your frequencies are between 450 and 470, yes.

Re: GP328/GP329 Compatibility Question
The only difference between the GP328 and GP329 is the Signalling
The Gp328 Signalling will do Quick Call II,DTMF,limited MDC1200
And the GP329 Signalling will do 5-tone,DTMF
Now the GP328 you have with that Model #AZH25SDC9AA2 Is a UHF 450 to 520MHz
And the GP329 with that model #AZH25RDC9AN3 is a UHF 403 to 470MHz
I hope this helps
