Motorola M1225 Repeater questions.

Post by kg6uyz »

I setup a uhf ham repeater using 2 m1225's. I have the controller connecting to the radios via the 16 pin acc connector, the prolem i am having is the comming out of the transmit radio sounds muffled, i tryed to setup it up so that i could key the radio and use the audio in from the rj-45 connector on the front of the radio but i could not get the controller to key the radio, is there anyway i can have radio key from the rear connector and have the audio going into the radio from the mic connector? i know that in cm200's you have to modify the radio so you can have audio going in at the mic connector, and key the radio on the acc connector, do i have to do the same thing to my m1225?

Thanks,

Jeff

How about a little more info. What controller are you using? What pins on the back of the radio are you using for what? and which pins do you have programmed for what via RSS?
