Astro Saber Speaker Mic NMN 6217B

Post by Alpha87A »

Can someone let me know if the Astro Saber Speaker Mic NMN 6217B will work on non Astro Sabers? They look like an improvement over the original version for Sabers.

Thank you

Nope.. The astro is a NMN6127 it is pinned out different. They make a NMN6225 that is identical to astro that is designed for the saber. They are out there but hard to find used. New they are $130

In my opinion you are just as well off keeping the old Saber Mic. They work as well or better than the new style.

Thanks for the speedy reply gentlemen you have saved me from taking a chance on an Ebay auction. I don't own any Astro/Sabers.

And remember, too, that you can take the old square
spkr/mics apart but you can not take most of the new streamlined, rounded units apart; they're glued together for eternity.
