XTS charger got wet..HELP

ok here is the thing my friends kid got this charger wet inside and out..we let it dry out w/o the power adpt. on it....it has been a few days now and it is dry but now when we but a battery in to charge it starts to flash RED i took it apart and looked at the contacts there is some corr. on the bord is there any chance to fix this ?? if i get a can of contact cleaner will it "clean" it up or am i just wasting my time?

If the damage is severe enough that you can see it, there's probably so much you can't see that it'll be futile
