Spectra A4 Dasmount to Remote mount?? help

Ok. I got a Dashmount VHF Spectra with A4 head. Is there a cable I can get to make this thing remote mount?? Or will i have to buy a whole new head?

You only need a remote kit which uses your control head. Try asking in the FS/FT column, someone's likely got one.

Ok another question. if i bought just say an a5 head. can i take my a4 off and put the a5 on. or does the radio itself have to be programmed for different heads?

Needs to be programmed for a different head. Involves changing model numbers and a few other thigns in the radio using lab.
