Has anyone used a Maxtrac with the Ultimate Linkin Interface from http://www.ilinkboards.com?
I have a 5 pin Maxtrac and connected COS to pin 1 of the Mic jack and made the necessary connections from the RJ45 jack on the ULI and the Maxtrac. Everything seems to work except I'm not getting and transmit audio out of the Maxtrac. Do I need more gain out of the ULI to the Maxtrac?
I've seen plenty of references to interfacing using the TX Audio on the accessory connector on 16pin units. Is this the same as the MIC Audio in? Or is there a better place to inject the audio from the ULI?
Thanks,
Adam

Re: Maxtrac and ULI Interfacing
The TX audio going to the Maxtrac mic input needs to be set to HIGH level in the interface unit.
Most Motorola mobiles made in the past thirty years requires 180mV microphone audio input. The input impedance on the Motorola radios is about 600 ohms unbalanced.
Most of these interfaces are made for ham radios that require much less microphone input voltage and have a higher input impedance. This = lower mic output from the interface.
