What is the flashcode of your radio, get it then run it through a flashcode decoder, you must have h14, digital id display, or it will not display.

Mfg Code(FLASH PORT ): 0000010000009
Power-up test: AP_R03.33.00
DSP N05.01.04
EMC 2.012
KG1-DES
KG2-NONE

I am sure I did check and do not remember the H14 package.

Decoding Flashcode: 000001-000000-9
H35 Conventional Systems Operation
<A HREF="http://www.akardam.net/moto/decode3.pl">Decoded by akardam.net FC Decoder</A>
Conventional Only nother other options. No, you do not have H14. You also have extremely old firmware and most likely a 512K radio. Not a 1 Meg unless the radio is marked as 1 Meg.
Great radio for conventinal use.

Re: MDC-1200 PTT ID display AS3
Thanks for that - I know it is old but when I got it it was last programmed in DEC 1999 .
These radios had not been used , so I have mint radios but old Firmware .Digital at the moment really sounds good.
I cant be fussy as I am sure I am the only amateur in the country playing with commercial digital .
Thanks for the help.
