console phone

Post by ffexpCP »

I need help looking for a part. I don’t even know if one exists.

I am looking for some sort of a rack-mount speakerphone. I will even settle for a phone without speaker as long as I can mount it in a rack. It must also have DTMF. I think even a old centracom console phone would do. But can't find where to get one.

I have a telemetry alarm system in my transmitter rack that dials out with the alarms and ‘speaks’ to you. I want this as a local phone to monitor the alarms, change programming and to monitor while I make adjustments.

I’ve been looking for a phone, but can’t find one. Any ideas?

Why don't you just get a regular wall speakerphone and mount it to a normal rack panel. That would be the cheap
way out with only drilling a few holes.
