Broke XTS 3K display flex

Post by livelongandgrumpy »

While recasing my XTS 3k the display stuck to the case and I broke the flex. The display is still good, can I replace the flex (if so what is part number?) or do I need to purchase a new display and flex ( part number?kit number?). Thanks all in advance

You can not purchase the flex by itself from M. If you get a new LCD you may have to refresh your firmware. Moto will send you refresh key for no charge. You still need a Smartrib.

I have a bad LCD with a good flex, I would sell it, or buy your old one LCD.

Jim, How much do you want for the display and flex? Looks like the flex is gl;ued on the circit board. I have v r5.5.08 on the xts (I think it has a 2004 prod date). I do not have a smart rib for these radios. Tnank You.
