Minitor 2 Minijack

Post by dahlio »

I have a Minitor 2 and was wondering if I got a minijack to RCA audio cable, what audio would come over it. Would I get the pager generated alert tone? What about the dispatch info. Thanks in advance!

Yes. It is simply a headphone jack on the same audio as the speaker. The speaker cuts off when you plug in. Same audio, same volume.

And that includes the alert tone, generated by the minitor ii as well? So what you're saying, is I can keep my stereo on, and hook another minitor to it, and overall make my own amplifier ?

Anything that would normally come out of the speaker will go out the headphone jack. This includes the alert tone.
