mototola ht750/1250 srn

Post by celltech25 »

Is anyone still using the SRN1383 for the ht750/1250/1550 series prortables for the resetting or going to sleep issue. We have sent several units in for this SRN in the past free of charge. The last 2 units we sent in have been billed flat rate repiar after consulting motorola they have credited our account. They are saying the srn was concluded in oct of 2002 which I find hard to believe since the original srn bulletin is dated october 2002

Anyone Else using it ???

That SRN sounds like it needs the infamous "containment kit". Costs you about $2.00 in parts to fix.

I've never sent in a radio to Moto with this problem, any of the ones that power reset I just throw in a containment kit and they keep on trucking.
