Minitor 5 Two Tone question

Post by jrob603 »

We just received new 5's and they are programmed like our old minitor 2's. My question is this: We would like to have a few pagers set up to be alerted by a different set of tones (officers). How would I go about getting them set up to do this. Do I need to get a different cap code and program it into the pager, and if so, where do I find out how to get the other tone reads?
Thanks.

M5s don't require reeds... everything is done in software. Just pick another pair of tones and program that set into the officers' M5s. The M5 will support 8 two-tones and 4 single-tones per channel.

You should talk to an officer and get the tones the are using currently and input them in the minitor 5.The minitor 5 is quite simple to program you just need to know the tones
