Hey folks.

I wanted to thank all the people on here who have the knowledge that I wish I had on radio information.

I built a custom console and when i did, i realized i had to re-install the spectra due to where all the console was being installed. Now when i installed the radio the first time, I was told to ground it completely to the battery and so i did (not knowing any better). Well, when i was planning this re-install, i made sure to read up on the posts here about people who have done their installs, and one thing that always jumped out at me, most if not all were not grounding to the battery. I have been having issues with the battery discharging with no equipment (radio/arrowstick etc) which had me baffled. This time, I grounded it to the body where the motor is grounded, and I think that solved all my problems. Usually i would have a dead battery within 2 hours, it has now been two days with no dead battery.

So folks on this board. I may not have asked the question to you all specifically about grounding, but i would like to thank each of you on this board that have posted in the past because I believe that you probably saved me from having to buy a battery right away.

Thanks all. Your knowledge is well appreciated.
