Minitor III Charger Problems

i had 2 minitor III pagers. the chargers for each have the same model number. for some reason they dont wor rite. its like somethings loose. i have to wiggle the pager in the cradle and try to get the light to come on. sometime it wount even light up. but if i put the batterys in the battery slot it lights up. what could the problem be. is it common?

Usually, dust and lint from clothing accumulates in the recesses in the bottom of the pager where the 'outside world' contacts are. You can try cleaning(gently, with very light pressure) the recessed contacts with the tip of a toothpick with a drop of contact enhancer applied to the tip. And also clean the pogo pins in the bottom of the charger well(gently, again) with a Q tip with a little contact enhancer applied to the cotton of the tip.
