JEDI Series, Green RX light modification??

Post by Max-trac »

Do any of the JEDI series have the green LED flash during receive instead of red?
It lights up green during the selftest boot, but never green again in the versions that I have.
Anyone do a mod for that?

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

If it's that simple, (as i think it is) that you want Red during decode, and green during RX...can't you just invert the two + legs of the diode so that you invert the color display? Methinks that might be it...i've done this before on computer tower cases where the LEDs were "stupid", but i think that might be all you have to do. I will go take apart a HT1000 tomorrow to check if it is possible (sorry, i only took 2 apart to recase, never played with the innards)
