Desktop repeater case??

Post by rcit »

Good Day,

Is there a desktop repeater case available for Maxtracs? Or a case with built-in power supply for a single base station operation? Can you advise part #'s if available.

If there isn't anything...are the basic mounting brackets the same for all maxtracs (which ones are the same)?

Thanks for the help!
Cheers,
Darcy

37 views and no one has answered this simple question????
The gr300 housing is a desktop repeater housing, and has a power supply in it. Will hold 2 mobiles, duplexer and controller.
Astron makes some power supplies with hoods that go over the ps and hold the radio, they look really good and are made for most if not all Motorola mobiles.
And lastly, a lot of mobile brackets are interchangeable, but not all. All the gm300, maxtrac, radius mXXX are the same. 1225, sm50 are the same, cdm's I think work with the first group, but may be a tight fit.
Hope some of that helps answer your questions.

Awesome...thanks for the info. As you say, should have been simple for all the experts;-)

Anyone have a part# for the gr300 housing? Is this something available new from MOL?

I think its HLN8391 list is like 800 bucks though. I would go used, or with an astron.
