XTS 5000 Converting

I just bouth a XTS5000 Model II,the radio have all tags i was wondering if i can send the radio to Mototola and convert it to model III and how much,if not what is my other choice.

Unless you work for a very large public safety agency or company with a big $$ M contract, I doubt that as an individual that they would tell you yes.

They will probably tell you there's no way it can be done, and to go pound sand.

It's easier to buy what you specifically want in the first place.
